A microloan is offered to women who are aspiring entrepreneurs without the necessary capital in impoverished areas. In Africa, for instance, there is no dearth of slums and motivated young women are identified by non profit organizations such as Global Peace Train and provided with the necessary microfinance to help them establish a small, sustainable business.

Women with self determination and a strong desire to succeed are included in the social transformative process by Microloan programs that utilize community participation, group lending and collective liability to achieve their goals. A contribution as little as $100 is encouraged from those who desire to donate towards the cause donations can be made online from their websites.

Non profit organizations take great efforts in spreading microloan awareness among individuals and corporate. Many corporate partner with them to enable the entrepreneur minded but economically impoverished to strengthen their existing business or to start a new venture that can sustain their family for a long time to come. Business ventures include anything from establishing sewing shops to running family farms.

Loans provided to small businesses can also be utilized for providing training and acquiring support from local staff. These resources help families address and deal with issues such as poverty, disease and child hunger in a dignified manner. Microloan offered to a needy family brings them out of dependence and puts them on the road to recovery with dignity.

A small capital makes a huge difference for aspiring entrepreneurs in the developing world. Non profit organizations are vital forces that push for empowerment through social participation streamlining funds through donations and charitable events.

For instance, an event is being organized in Salt Lake City by a reputed non profit organization the Global Peace Train in association with NS Minerals, a corporate committed to being socially responsible. This event, in line with Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream is named the Midsummer’s Night Event and is organized with the assistance of La Caille’s event specialists.

Such events foster the cause of the underprivileged in developing areas and acts as a ray of hope creating positive ripples in deserving communities. Their efforts ensure that more number of children find food to eat on a regular basis and receive decent medical care. Microloan helps families become self reliant. At least 98% of these loans are paid back in full before the end of the loan term enabling these organizations to help others in the community.

Global Peace Train founded in the year 2009 has been partnering socially responsible businesses to help with sustainable community development in impoverished areas. Apart from creating microloan awareness, this organization has delivered clothing, supplies and services to poverty stricken children in three countries.

The organization conducts research on an ongoing basis to determine the sustainability of microfinance programs in countries such as India and Africa.  Global Peace Train also creates documentaries as a part of its microloan awareness drive.

According to the CEO of Global Peace Train Aja Duniven, in Kenya, there are women who have survived unimaginable and worst ever poverty conditions. He also says that these women, when asked what they would like in order to improve their life conditions, ask for support to find the necessary capital to start their own small business ventures rather than asking for charity. He says that it is clear that these women need microloan programs that can offer them an opportunity to earn sustainable income to support their families.
