(Newswire.net — February 2, 2013) London, UK One of the biggest household names in Bingo Gala Bingo has annouced the launch of their new facebook app which feeds a live broadcast that will have different celebrity on each week.
The new Gala Bingo App is an impressive fresh interactive system which enables participants to view – and take part in full interviews with all the celebrities during thier live broadcasts. The app will also allow players to view previous feeds they may have missed.
Gala have stated that the app will go live on their TV Channel on the 8th February at 10pm and they stated that the first celebrity to be on will be the David Hasslehoff.
The app will use a range ofassorted well-liked social media channels and members will be alerted a week in advance to which celeb will be on. Members will also have the ability to tweet and post their own questions for the celebrity onj the live show before hand.
The Appearance of David Hasslehoff will go hand in hand with thier launch of the new Scratchcard “Hoff” which will be exclusive to Gala Bingo and accompany a bonus offer promo.
As part of the idea by Gala, the Hoff will be unsing his social media chanels twitter and face book to publicise the launch, and his scratchcard, in the run up to the show – also Gala bingo will be promoting some extensive after-show social media activity.
David Hassleoff has has built up a large following with his global appeal attracting over half a million followers on Twitter and over one hundred thousand likes on his Facebook.
Gala Bingo is hoping to tap into the extensive celebrity fan markets where the new app and live celebrity show concept will come in to its own.
This inovative interactive Social Media element combined with the traditional TV chat show format gives new and existing members an original and exciting reason for playing at gala and underlines their status as an innovator rather than imitator.
