The desks are designed to be strong and durable. Cable ports come as standard to enable easy cable management.
Notice how the cable basket can be fitted either side of the modesty panel. This allows cable management to be shared between two desks.
The Icarus Range
Products include bench desks, mobile pedestals, desk height drawer units, white & maple bookcases, round and rectangular meeting tables, storage cupboards, left of right hand wave desks and left or right hand corner desks.
Storage Cupboards & Bookcases
The adjustable shelves used in the storage cupboards and bookcases can be positioned using metal-to-metal screw in shelf studs. This creates a much stronger shelf which will take more weight than shelves with standard fixtures provided by many other office furniture suppliers.
Additionally, the bookcases and storage cupboards have 18mm solid MFC backs. This helps to provide additional strength and stability compared to other products which only use 5 or 6mm hardboard.
Meeting Tables
The Icarus range includes white and maple meeting tables which are available in 1200mm diameter round or 2400mm x 1200mm rectangular tables.
The round meeting table has a cut out in the panel legs which allows a cable port to be positioned in the centre of the table.
The rectangular meeting table contains a cut out in the central modesty panel which allows either a cable port or power dock to be fitted in the centre of the table.
Mobile Pedestals & Desk High Drawer Units
The Icarus white and maple mobile pedestals (left image) are designed to fit under cable trays and 600mm deep bench desks.
They utilise a four-sided drawer box construction for extra strength
The desk height drawer units (right image) contain 2 shallow drawers and 1 filing drawer.
