(OTC: VIRA), the first open source biotech research social network platform, announced today the signing of an agreement for an exclusive license from Health Care Intellectual Properties, LLC, to Viratech for United States Provisional Patent Application 61677007 titled “Comprehensive Method of Treating and Evaluating Cancer and Viruses with Metabolic Micro Environment Cellular Therapy, Systemic Biological Evaluation and Treatment and Immune Support Therapy.”
There has been no universal cure or diagnostic test for all forms of cancer. This is largely due to the lack of research and understanding that cancer is a complex set of many imbalances and disease states that can be caused by environmental factors, epigenetic factors, nutritional state, metabolic state and the chemical imbalances wherein cells that have become damaged over time. Viratech is interested in using its open-source research platform to further research cancer and the body’s immune function. Viratech believes cancer cells can replicate more quickly in a state that lacks metabolic balancing and is being exposed with carcinogens and a toxic environment.
Dr. Buckman, the CEO of Viratech, states, “We are looking for new ways to evaluate and treat cancer and the viruses that are associated with cancer.” Furthermore, he states, “there is evidence that cancer that invades cells, along with viruses that cause cancer, have both found ways to protect themselves from the body’s own immune system. He also states that “breast cancer is higher in those who have diabetes and are overweight, and may be associated with Syndrome X, metabolic syndrome, or pre-diabetes. If we can do a better job support healthy metabolism and our immune system, these are ways that may help to treat or prevent cancer by affecting the underlying cellular environment. More research is needed to determine which factors that can help prevent epidemics of these diseases, which can be done, in part, using our open source research platform”.
Health Care Intellectual Properties is the holding company for Dr. Buckman’s patents licensed to Viratech on an exclusive basis. This will also allow Viratech to sub-license this technology to other companies.
