In late January 2013 he was trained by the world’s best short game custom fitting and improvement experts at the 2013 PGA Equipment Show. He successfully completed four training sessions at the Show:
Putter and Wedge Custom Fitting Training. As noted by Bobby Dean, VP of Operations for Edel Golf:

He also completed a Wedge Fitting Training class with Mike Adams – Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and Golf Digest Top 50 Teacher – on how the body works in the golf swing and how to use this knowledge to help golfers hit successful wedge shots.”
Tony improved his ability to use the Edel Putter Fitting System – which can be used to create putters with perfect aim and speed control.
He also improved his knowledge for using the Edel Wedge Fitting System – to custom fit golfers for wedges they can use to confidently hit every type of wedge shot.
AimPoint Green Reading Training. This was conducted by Mark Sweeney, developer of the AimPoint Technologies, the World’s #1 Green Reading Technology.
Tony learned how to precisely predict the break of putts, and how to easily apply this knowledge on the golf course. More than 60 PGA professionals and the 2012 LPGA Player of the Year use the AimPoint green reading process.
Putting Instructor Certification Training. Tony successfully completed the Science and Motion Sports (SAM) PuttLab Level 1 Certification Training. This training was conducted by Dr. Christian Marquardt – developer of the SAM PuttLab – which analyzes the 28 most important elements of a putting stroke.
By completing this training, Tony became a Certified SAM Level 1 Putting Instructor. As noted by Dr. Marquardt:
