A similar recent event held in Austin, Texas in January of this year had close to 4000 attendees. What’s all the fuss?

The main speakers at the upcoming event are two internet millionaires, David Wood and David Sharpe. There’s nothing too unusual about being an internet millionaire these days (there are lots of them around). What makes these two David’s somewhat unusual is that each of them independently went from rags to riches in only a few years.
David Wood relates how he lived in a van with his wife when he decided he had enough. He asked his wife to support them—to go out and get a job—for two months while he focused on making money online through affiliate marketing. It actually took three months before he made his first $10,000. He concentrated entirely on making money by blogging. Mr. Wood says that he currently makes close to $500,000 a month through affiliate marketing on the internet.
David Sharpe also went from rags to riches. By his own account he was living in a ramshackle house, working in construction, and barely making ends meet, when he also said “Enough!” Like David Wood, he also focused on affiliate marketing. But instead of blogging he used paid advertising to generate traffic online. In short order Mr. Sharpe had moved out of his run down house into a mansion.
David Wood and David Sharpe met and became friends after they had each made their initial fortunes online. Each had experienced sudden a sudden and welcome reversal of their fortune. And they were both grateful. Together they decided to create an online training program to teach others what they had learned.
David Wood explains that his goal is to “coach people on how to build dynasties from their living room with nothing more than a computer, an internet connection, a pet lizard, and an all out passion to win.”
Attendees of the last Empower Network national conference in Austin, Texas (January 2013) had lots of good things to say about what they were learning. Most seemed to realize that making money online takes a lot of time and energy. But they still planned to emulate the Empower Networks founders.
