(Newswire.net via Emailwire.com — April 10, 2013) St. Catharines, ON — Ed Learn Ford Lincoln of St. Catharines is showing its support to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation by offering a donation to the foundation with the sale of has been dubbed “ The 2013 Breast Cancer Awareness Mustang”.
The 2013 Ford Mustang was transformed into mobile Breast Cancer Awareness work of art with the addition of beautiful mustang pink images, Breast Cancer Awareness ribbons, racing decals and bright pink wheel rims.
The car’s impressive transformation was performed by expert vehicle graphic artist Rebecca Winstanley of Autotrim & Signs of St. Catharines.
Ed Learn Ford Lincoln of St. Catharines will make a $1,000 donation in the name of the car’s new owner to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation as part of the dealership’s Breast Cancer Awareness drive.
This is the first year that such a project is attempted. The company and its employees take part in numerous charitable drives and community events during the calendar year, but nothing involving painting a car to be sold to a customer has been done before.
Larry Nelles of Ed Learn commented “The idea of painting the car pink for the Breast Awareness Campaign came from our General Manager Drew Donahue who wanted to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Research.” He also added, “we are active all year round with United Way as well has doing Pick Up Truck toy drive in the fall amongst other things.”

The 2013 Breast Cancer Awareness Mustang will remain front and center in the showroom for public display until such time as it is sold to its new owner.
