(Newswire.net — April 12, 2013) Denver, CO — The future for Cyprus is grim, and uncertainty with the new North Korea leader is creating an affect on the US economy.  A increasingly high number of expert economists forecasts are predicting a downfall in the economy.  When you then factor in the extreme weather patterns taking place in the heartland of America, farmers will easily effected this growing year.

While these event are unrelated, uncertainty always causes volatility, whether it’s in financial markets or the farming sector.  If the economy turns south due to world events, then severe weather continues, as has been happening over the past few years and continuing in the Spring of 2013, food shortages are a very real possibility.

While hard to believe, people across the globe are starting to realize that they may need to get prepared for a worst case scenario.

“There’re some serious events about to hit the US and the bottom line is any disaster, big or small, could cause food shortages in Amercia,” Author Damian Campbell said.

Coincidentally Michael Olympios, chairman of the Cyprus Investor Association, a lobbying group, said in a recent interview with The New York Times that as jobs disappear and the economy contracts, the recover of Europe’s strong economy is looking bleaker with each passing day.

“I used to be a believer. Not anymore,” Olympios said.

When you then factor in that North Korea continues to threaten missile launches towards neighboring South Korea and the US, it adds to more uncertainty for the markets.   While it’s uncertain if North Korea’s technology can allow their missiles to reach the US, it is certain they can reach ally South Korea and Seoul.  British Foreign Secretary William Hague recently said “We will keep this situation under close review with our allies..”

“The current crisis in Cyprus and North Korea is real and could have a domino effect toward the US economy which can lead to food production issues and shortages in America,” Campbell said.  In addition to food shortages, Water Purification, Garden Plans, Learning how to obtain Backup Power will also potentially become important.

One spark may cause everything to go sideways fast.  “Store shelves without food cause people to act irrationally rather quickly,  Food riots in America are mostly unthinkable” Campbell pointed out, before adding, “It’s not fun to think about where your next meal is going to come from if you’re not prepared.”

Campbell’s bigest message is do no let yourself be unprepared.  Get your hands on any books or products that can help you be prepared because our world is clearly changing.
