(Newswire.net — April 18, 2013) West, TX — In an effort to assist the victims and relief workers of the devastating events that took place in West, Texas on April 17th, at the West, Texas Fertilizer Plant Explosion, The Ultimate Smoker and Grill has partnered with 3 Stacks Smoke and Tap House and Slavocek Sausage Company to provide West, Texas disaster relief in the form of meals and beverages to be provided for 72 hours at no cost to victims, relief workers and volunteers.
The West, Texas disaster relief event will be held in West, Texas from Friday, April 18th through Sunday, April 20th. The Ultimate Smoker and Grill and The Rib Whisperer, Trace Arnold, will be parked on 35E, at the Greg May Chevrolet Dealership across from the Czech Bakery cooking hot, fresh food for victims, relief workers, emergency responders and organizers.
3 Stacks Smoke and Tap House of Frisco, Texas will provide food and staff, along with Slavocek Sausage Company, Frito Lay, Pepsico Foods, US Foods, Mrs. Bairds Bread and Portside Marketing. The 80-foot rolling smoker can cook up to 2000 pounds of meat at a time, providing meals and beverages to a large crowd, making it a highly convenient way to provide mobile meals and good will to those that could use a hot, fresh meal.
All relief workers, volunteers, victims and their families are welcome to come by and get served Texas-style BBQ at no cost. At least 20 additional volunteers will be needed each day to help package and serve food.
