(Newswire.net — April 21, 2013) TX — Jerome Knyszewski was just officially recognized as LinkedIn’s most recommended reputation management professional. Results were finalized on April 20th 2013 after a thorough research in the top 200 Online Reputation Management Experts in LinkedIn. Jerome Knyszewski is a best selling reputation management coach and mentors many experts. He specializes in teaching consultants the art of reputation management and marketing. He personally builds, protects, manages and markets the reputation of celebrities, corporate executives and select companies. He is often referred to as “The Reputation Yoda” as he trained most of the reputation management experts throughout the world.

The research was conducted with the intention to identify the most reputable reputation management expert. Going straight into Google was not the best solution because search engines results can be manipulated quite easily. Just about anyone can rank on the first page of Google for a search term and claim on their own website that did provide the best services. The professional social network LinkedIn just celebrated 200 million members. Therefore it seemed naturally fitting to go into LinkedIn and research the online reputation management expert with the most recommendations and the most endorsements.

According to LinkedIn’s Help Center, “Skill endorsements are a great way to recognize your 1st-degree connections’ skills and expertise with one click. They also let your connections validate the strengths found on your own profile. Skill endorsements are a simple and effective way of building your professional brand and engaging your network.” There is a lot of controversy around the value of these endorsements since anyone can endorse just about anyone. Considering this, looked at the number of endorsements each online reputation management expert had, but we focused more on the recommendations.

Jerome Knyszewski had, at the time of the survey, for “SEO” and “Online Marketing”, over 400 endorsements and 288 for “online reputation management”, which was considerably more than anyone else in that industry.

According to LinkedIn’s Help Center, “A recommendation is a comment written by a LinkedIn member to endorse a colleague, business partner, student, or service provider. People interested in hiring or doing business with someone often consider recommendations in making their decisions”
Recommendations are much more reliable to judge one’s expertise and genuine authority as they require a commitment from another verified LinkedIn member. The great majority of professionals had recommendations ranging from none to 20. A few distinguished themselves with 30 plus recommendations.
Jerome Knyszewski, at the time of completion of the survey on April 20th 2013, had 170 unique recommendations, which was by far the most impressive profile on LinkedIn for a reputation management professional.

A note worthy observation, LinkedIn allows you to see how many recommendation a member received as well as how many recommendation that member gave away, the majority of profiles had an even number of recommendations received and written, which left a sense of trading. “I write you something nice, you write me something nice”. Jerome Knyszewski received 170 recommendations, but wrote only 11, this confirms that he truly is the most recommendable reputation management professional.
