The church is led by Pastor Rick Page.
Beautiful landscapes can be found all throughout the Orlando area but Florida Landscape Professionals Vice President and member of the Faith Family Community Church, Vinnie Ragone, felt like his church’s landscaping was missing something. So, he came up with the idea of offering his church an Extreme Makeover.
“I’m no Ty Pennington”, quipped Ragone, “but our company consistently provides the same high quality landscaping services that millions of people across America have seen on the hit television show. So, I came up with the idea of offering my church an extreme makeover, but just for landscaping and not the church facility itself.”
Ragone said he felt compelled to help improve the outside appearance of the church grounds with the objectives of creating a more inviting look that the existing congregation could enjoy each time they entered the church property. He also wanted to make a better first impression for those visiting the church for the first time who might also be considering Faith Family Community Church as their place of worship.
“Like it or not, outward appearance can be a deciding factor when choosing a church so this was another reason I wanted to help. I don’t want looks to stand in the way of new families joining Faith Family Community Church,” said Ragone
Additional reasons Mr. Ragone cited why his company, Florida Landscape Professionals was providing this generous service was that he wanted the Church body to come together and help with the process of the landscape renovation. Mr Ragone and Bill Reese, leader of the Men’s Ministry rallied the support of some key members to help fill in the gaps. Mr. Ragone went on to say, “I feel relationships will grow as a result of this project and this will naturally attract new people to fellowship with us. We have some pretty amazing pastors that I want more people to be able to hear and experience and I’m praying this landscaping project does just that.”
