(Newswire.net — April 26, 2013) Syracuse, NY — On Saturday April 20th Media Partners Group produced the live webcast for 2CW Wrestling of Syracuse, NY. The event had been promoted by 2CW for many months and the “Living on the Edge” match held in Watertown, NY was both 2CW’s and Media Partners Group first live webcast event. Four cameras and a production crew of eight, lead by director Walt Morrissey were used to produce the show, which was web hosted by LiveSportsVideo.com. Backstage producers closely monitored the webcast on social media outlets, including Twitter. About an hour and half into the program it was announced by executive Producer Josh Jeanneret that the 2CW live webcast was the number one trending Twitter discussion in the world. Viewers tweeted in from all 50 states, Europe, South America, and from the Far East, many commenting as to how well the show looked and “streamed smooth as butter”. According to Jeanneret, Media Partners Group far exceeded any expectations he had for the show. Walt “is a true pro that deserves to be making big bucks on the national level.” Future webcasts are being planned.
2CW (Squared Circle Wrestling) is an independent wrestling promotion, based out of Syracuse, New York which began holding events in April of 2006. They have held events in Syracuse, Utica, Rochester, Watertown, Oswego, Amsterdam, and Binghamton, NY since that time.
