For parents wishing to engage their students in a fun and intellectually driven environment, MathRise Learning Center is hosting an educational event for students of all ages. The goal is to entertain and train the children simultaneously, hence the term “entertraining”.
MathRise Learning Center is hosting a Science Day on May 4th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Students will be able to participate in hands-on activities, focused on kinematics (the study of motion) with nationally certified teacher, David Wirith. Participants will study how waves travel and build their own take home wave machines. In addition, the day will end with students racing their machines against one another.
As this event teaches students about the co-existing relationship between mathematics and science, participants won’t only discover the study of kinematics, but also learn how their class room curriculum applies to subjects of the real world.
MathRise Learning Center does offer tutoring in Glendale, AZ and the communities of the Southwest Valley.
