(Newswire.net — May 3, 2013) Oak Harbor, WA — Oak Harbor Washington Marketing expert Dan Smith has just been retained to handle the “online marketing” efforts of a multimillion dollar Herbal Supplement producer and distributor. He will be launching a new online marketing campaign immediately and also has plans to begin filming what will wind up being a worldwide distributed video campaign for the product. He is currently seeking participants to use the products and appear in the videos.
Best known for its Naval Air Station and fantastic natual feel, Oak Harbor Washington marketing firms are often overlooked by larger companies. They instead look to the bigger cities where overhead and turnover are high and competition is cut throat. With a laid back atmosphere and community feel, Oak Harbor maketing firms have room to stretch out and do their own thing without distraction. Perhaps this one client focus is what brought the big name business to town.
Whidbey Island has had an attraction to the filming industry over the years, with several big name movies such as “An Officer and a Gentleman” and “Practical Magic” being shot here. Other companies have filmed shoe and car commercials here, but always bring in their own staff and talent. It is nice for a change to see big business coming in for something other than Whidbey Island’s real estate and scenery.
“Partnering with a local gym as a filming and training location is a key part of the plan.” Says Dan. “It will help drive up some new membership there, as well as get the word out to the local health and fitness community about what we are doing.” And getting the word out is certainly going to be important. Dan seeks to find 50 participants, all locals, to use the product and go through the workout program.
Bringing out of state revenue into the small town will have a decent financial impact locally as well. Dan plans to use only Oak Harbor suppliers for the many things he will need for the project. “I expect to throw a decent amount of business to our local screen printers, a gym, banner makers, photographers, videographers, video editors, production assistant, and don’t forget local talent. I am hoping to find a local military fitness instructor, perhaps special forces or a rescue swimmer to hire as an instructor in the videos. This could be a huge break for someone.” He shared that a few participants in the program will be offered long term modelling contracts with the company. “By the time they are done with the 60 day challenge they are all going to be beautiful. It will be hard to decide who to pick” he said.
Planning to keep things fun and exciting, big name fitness experts known worlwide as well as some well known celebrities and models are on the schedule for suprise appearances at some of the group video shoots. If nothing else, it seems that there will at least be a great local buzz going around Oak Harbor’s marketing world.
