Internet Wealth Myths and Truths

(Newswire.net — May 08, 2013) London, England — You’ve seen it all before right?

The promises of internet wealth, riches beyond your wildest dreams, financial freedom, time freedom; in fact everything you want all at the flick of a switch if you buy this one magic program that does it all for you.

And it doesn’t happen.

Then you see an ad for ‘the new top secret, free traffic source’ that guarantees success.  Only it doesn’t quite work out for you.

The first internet wealth myth is, even though some ‘lucky’ people seem to stumble upon a key, or some missing secret that rapidly grows their fortunes, there was actually a lot of hard work and failure before that happened.

A good example of this is Gavin Thorne in the UK.  He had a great looking blog site, understood email marketing, had products to sell, affiliate programs to profit from.  He had invested hundreds, of hours month after month, taking time away from his wife and kids.  He had invested thousands of pounds (I’m British, and so is Gavin) in all kinds of courses, that he could have spent on his family.  All to no avail.  Then he found one particular program, and ‘Bang’, 90 days later was reeling in the cash – a full time income, working part time, whatever hours he wished.

The second internet wealth myth is, to be honest, similar to the first.  Plenty of internet marketing guru’s claim everything is simple and easy.  Taken at its very basic level you could say that yes, internet marketing is made up of lots of simple and easy things to do – which when added together take time and can look complicated!

This particular lesson is taught by a very sharp multiple 6 figure business builder – Rob Fore (in the USA).  He had found a simple reproducible formula for building businesses online that would then sustain themselves.

The third internet wealth myth is that things seldom happen in less than 90 days.  UK online mentor, Jay Roberts uses a 90 day coaching process, but says most need to commit to at least 12 months, using a system proven to work.  If you aim to go it alone, expect a 2 year learning process before getting results!

So there you have it, the internet is not a ‘get rich quick’ vehicle, but it does seem to be a place you can build sustainable incomes, with the right knowledge and systems.
