Newswire.net — May 11, 2013 NYC, NY — Sir Alex Ferguson the most successful soccer coach history, is due to call time on his illustrious career at the end of the season, ending a soccer coaching career that is just 1 year shy of four decades.

Reports leaked today have suggested, that the reason for  soccer coach sir Alex Ferguson’s shock decision, to retire from soccer coaching at the end of this season, is the high levels of stress and pressure he feels trying to keep Manchester united at the top of the world game.

This is contrary to earlier reports this week that suggested that the  72 year old, who is due to have a hip replacement operation this summer,  had felt that the time was right to step down. Because of the hip situation, he may not have recovered enough in time, to resume pre-season soccer training at Manchester United.

According to ex-England soccer coach, and now acting Russia coach, Fabio Capello said this “I speak with Sir Alex regularly and he told me he cannot go on because of the high levels of stress” He also went on to say that his announcement to retire had surprised him, “I spoke with him a few months ago he told me he would carry on”

Ferguson who began his soccer coaching career in 1974 at East Stirlingshire, at the  young age of 32. After previously being a successful player at Queens Park, St. Johnstone, Dunfermline, and Rangers working his way up from amateur to full time professional.

Similar parallels might be drawn with American soccer coach Matt Smith. Who worked his  way up through high school soccer, college soccer up to a professional MLS player. He is  now a coach with his own soccer coaching program, The Epic Soccer Training System.

Matt was a highly decorated player previously being voted 3-time all state champion, Florida Player of the year, High School all American, collegiate all American, and is now a respected soccer coach. With a unique approach to soccer training in the USA today.

When asked what made his training methods different from other coaches Matt said this “The thing I realized about training after watching the pros and working with high level  coaches, was that traditional soccer practices were NOT the correct way to become a great player, it’s all about dynamic touches”

MATT ROSTEK said this about Matt’s soccer training techniques “I got the Epic Soccer Training program in the beginning of the summer and it really helped my game I was able to make the VARSITY team this year”. High praise indeed could we be talking about Matt Smith in 40 years time like Sir Alex?
