(Newswire.net — May 12, 2013) San Diego, CA —  The widely sought after healthy fitness and nutrition guru Natalie Jill explains the benefits of juicing in her new video “Juicing with Natalie Jill.” She says that first you want to start with a watery base, so I typically like to use celery or a cucumber. Next the bulk of the vegetables are added to the juice, which I like to use a dark leafy vegetable such as spinach or kale. That is the main part of the juice Natalie explains, and says that “juicing” is a fast and simple way to stay healthy, because fresh vegetables and fruits are being used. You receive even more nutritional value if the vegetables and fruits that are used for juicing are organic.

Natalie uses greens for protein and fiber, plus she recommends to be creative and not only use fruits such as apples, strawberries, and carrots which add a natural sweetness to the mix, but to try exotic vegetables and fruits for a variety. There are many vegetables and fruits that you would not think to use, which make wonderful juices Natalie Jill explains.

“To make juice last a little longer, I always add some type of citrus like grapefruit, which is my absolute favorite,” explains Natalie in her juicing video as she places the grapefruit next to the other fresh ingredients. As Natalie Jill is prepping the ingredients, the fruits are cut up small enough so that they do not get stuck in the juicer.  Hard vegetables and fruits such as carrots should be added midway to nearly complete to keep the juicer from getting clogged. One of the tips Natalie gives, is to purchase a juicer that is quiet and easy to clean, so that it can be used without hesitation to prepare a quick juice anytime.
