(Newswire.net — June 21, 2013) Madison, WI — Online Degrees Guide has chosen Swarthmore College as their spotlight school of the semester for the summer months.

OnlineDegreesGuide.com is an online website that helps people find information on schools and vocational training programs.

The website’s manager David Hanson said, “It’s always difficult to choose just one college to showcase, but we feel confident that we have really picked a good one this semester.  Swarthmore has been regarded as a top university for decades and we know that the majority of students who enroll at that school report that they are happy with their decision.”

“While Swarthmore is certainly on the expensive end of the tuition scale,” Hanson continued, “Most students can receive a significant amount of financial aid.  Funding four years of college is usually not easy, but most students and parents can find some way of making it work.”

The Online Degrees Guide site is a resource that is open for anyone who is considering attending a college or other school after finishing high school. The website has details about a variety of schools and career training institutions around the country, including contact information for most universities, larger community colleges, private for-profit schools and even some of the smaller vocational training schools.

“While we feel that universities such as Swarthmore can be a great experience for a lot of young people,” Hanson concluded, “They certainly aren’t suited for everyone, so each student should make their own education, career and training choices.”
