Getting Back in the Game of Life.” The message will urge Chamber members to move their businesses forward by 1) Taking full responsibility for their success, 2) Developing awesome, business relationships and partnerships, 3) Making learning and self-development a key to business advancement 4) Realizing the power of giving back, lifting others as you climb as a necessary component to true service and lasting success.
Some of the women in “LeadHERship” faced tremendous tragedies, wrenching set-backs and frequent frustrations on their life-journeys. But they chose not to curse the stormy winds. Instead they re-charted their course and set a better sail.
One woman gave up her corporate job and “quit her life” to be free to live her dream of traveling the world on a shoe string budget. She liquidated everything and moved to South Florida to be a waitress before hatching a plan to go island-hopping through the Caribbean. She then moved to Tuscany, Italy and fell in love with a winemaker before settling down on a vineyard.
Another woman went from being a homeless teenager begging on the street to a becoming a millionaire and CEO of a thriving real estate empire! But first she had to take full responsibility for her plight in life. Her fight to forgive others and beat poverty put her on the road to wealth and a path to lift others as she climbed.
Ms. Frame makes the point that whether it’s business or personal, everyone possesses the LeadHERship power to set a new, better sail in life if they are stuck or unhappy. They have the responsibility to take charge and determine their destiny on their own terms. At anytime they can choose to lead a life of significance with purpose and conviction.
