(Newswire.net — June 28, 2013) Denver, CO — The Church @ Thornton Pastor Kenneth Michael says his mission is relatively simple.  “My sole purpose in life is to be a Christ Believer and in the end ascend to the Kingdom to be with Jesus Christ and to do my best to take as many souls with me as possible.  The Church @ Thornton is a true melting pot of Americans. “Through our multicultural, and ethnically diverse congregation with no division among us, we will fervently and effectively exalt the Name of Jesus Christ for the saving of souls, renewing of minds, and edifying of the Body Of Christ. This is done by teaching the unadulterated Word of God and making disciples to the Lord of those that come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.”

Pastor Kenneth says his mission to bring others to Christ started in the South.  “This church began in my heart while I was still in Ozark, Alabama. God began to direct me to Colorado and ultimately Thornton, Colorado. The Church @ Thornton began on October 8, 2006 in my home.  Dedicated to teaching the truth of God’s word, our church has grown and many lives have been affected for the glory of God.  Our desire is to “Share the love of God with all mankind, because love never fails.  We do this by reaching out to all people, first by our actions, and then by our words.”

Pastor Kenneth says dedicating one’s life to Jesus Christ and living the Word found in Holy Scripture will give one purpose and direction.  “The Bible is the best-selling book ever because it is the truly the spoken Word of God himself.  At The Church @ Thornton, our message is Bible-based and never our interpretation of Scripture.  I always urge others go get up and walk out of any church when the Message cannot be found in black and white in the Bible.

You can see Pastor Kenneth preach his Message at 10:00 a.m. Sunday mornings  at the Church @ Thornton
2683 E 120th Ave, or online
. Pastor Kenneth says, “We have audio and video of our Sunday Morning sermons over the past several years posted on our website.  If you attended service and you would like to hear the message repeated, you can do so on the website.  Also, if you’re wanting to attend a service, but do not yet feel ready, you can ease in to learning about the teachings of Jesus Christ by catching a sermon online.”
