This kind of use of facebook’s hashtag feature is already proving that big brands aren’t the only ones that can do a lot with the new facebook hashtags and it seems that the trend is starting to catch on rapidly across the business world.
Facebook hashtags really started gaining steam with the conclusion of the 2013 NBA Finals, where fans were using them to talk about key moments in the games. Little was being done at that point to use them for marketing.
