(Newswire.net — July 15, 2013) — Heather Piedmont, a former White House intern and political strategist, seeing the need for a stronger media presence for small businesses, started a Media and Marketing company to assist the businesses to reach more potential clients. She works by helping the businesses to become a part of their own solution and to build their success by understanding more about their business and their market.

Heather Piedmont Media assists startups, small to medium businesses, consultants and organizations by writing, editing, and moderating their media such as blogs, website content, e-books and white papers. She also assists with non-editorial media such as creating and moderating BlogTalk radio programs, podcasts, Google Plus talk shows and other media through actions such as booking guests for the programs.

In May this year, for Small Business Month, she offered additional free marketing and editorial strategy consultations to her small business and startup clients.

“The only way we are going to improve the economy is through the successes of independent consultants and small to medium businesses…that is who I support;” Piedmont said.

Heather Piedmont is a contributor to NewsBlaze, the independent online newspaper. With a keen eye and an ear for news and insight, she has written about politics, using skills gained around her Batchelor’s Degree in Political Science. She has also followed and written about national court and crime issues, leveraging her Masters Degree in Law.

Most recently, at the time of writing this, Heather has been following the Trial of Jodi Arias. Arias, an aspiring photographer, was fighting for her freedom, accused of stabbing her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander 29 times, shooting him in the face and slitting his throat; leaving him in his bathtub to die. Before that trial, Heather covered the Drew Peterson “He said, she said” trial.

Heather Piedmont has been part of the NewsBlaze team since sending her first story to us in February  2010. Her work can be seen on the Heather Bachman profile page.
