(Newswire.net — July 24, 2013) This week Simply Awesome Cars has reported on the latest line in German AMG services, which has seen the stunning Mercedes–AMG CLS 63 transformed into a supercar thanks to the skill of tuning specialists German Special Customs.

The blog reported on the announcement of the new assembly kit by GSC following the company’s launch of the new design at this year’s Top Marques event in Monaco. The company was a popular attraction at last year’s show, yet this year it surprised visitors once again with arguably its best creation to date. The latest custom AMG services range has simply been named Stealth; with the name summing up the sleek streetcar design.

The new custom design is striking, with the German tuning specialists having improved the looks of the CLS63, seamlessly integrating new design elements like a second skin. The team’s custom-designed fenders incorporate daytime LED running lights and wide and aggressive vents. Side venting has been used in the sporty skirts and a similar custom treatment has been given to the rear fender which features an integrated carbon fiber diffuser, a four-pipe steel sports exhaust and a substantial rear black-series style wing.

The color scheme matches that of the Lamborghini Aventador, with the interior also being subjected to GSC’s special AMG services treatment, with black and orange leather matching the exterior. The visual transformation gives the impression that the car is wider and lower, partially due to the adjustable front suspension and wheel arch extensions. The hood has been given an enormous central vent, hinting that serious tuning has taken place underneath.

The looks of the customization was a major attraction at Top Marques Monaco 2013, yet Simply Awesome Cars has reported that while looks are impressive, it is the mechanical work under the hood which is arguably the most significant upgrade.

The blog reports that GSC took the standard 5.5 liter V8 Biturbo and gave it one of the most comprehensive upgrades and aggressive AMG services seen to date. The twin turbo chargers were increased in size, a new exhaust system fitted and a brand new water cooler for the charge air intercooler installed. The customization transformed the factory 557-hp and 720 Nm torque engine substantially, increasing the standard model to 750-hp with 1,150 Nm of torque, while also improving the 0-60 mph time from 4.4 seconds to a shade under 3.7 seconds.

The latest design also incorporates control elements to keep the car handling correctly, with 8.5×20-inch front alloy rims and 10×20-inch rear rims complimented with sticky rubber Michelin tires for improved traction and a KW coil-over adjustable suspension system on the front axle.

Simply Awesome Cars believes the latest assembly kit is the perfect match for the current Mercedes-AMG CLS 63 generation and gives customers a unique design certain to turn heads. The blog has reported that the price of the customization has yet to be disclosed, although pricing is available to interested parties directly from GSC.
