(Newswire.net — November 26, 2013) Englewood, CO — On December 5th, 2013, Denver’s Society of Hispanic Human Resource Professionals (SHHRP) will work with local marketing firm, Social Climb, to present two LinkedIn training classes at the Hotel VQ in Denver. There will be one class specifically designed for job seekers and business professional profile development, and another tailored to help recruiters improve their success.
With 94% of today’s professional recruiters utilizing the site and 77% of all jobs listed there, LinkedIn is no longer the stepchild of social media. It is the number one social media for professional development, job placement and business to business. There are over 238 million users worldwide, with 40% now signing in daily. And, while this alone says so much, it is just the beginning of the power of LinkedIn.
There are more than 2.1 million groups that are focuses on shared interests, industries, areas or passionate topics. With more than 8,000 new groups being formed weekly, the opportunities to connect with people, job opportunities, companies and new business are endless. While the average person on LinkedIn belongs to 7 groups, Social Climb’s classes teach how to use up to 50 to be able to increase a users’ opportunities for success.
