Dr. Steve Broe, an executive coach and author, announced that leadership skills can help people become successful.  After interviewing over 25 successful people over the last 16 months for his next book, Broe has verified that leadership skills are often used by people to achieve the big victories in their life.  Success is often described as the achievement of a goal, the ability to help other people, and the expansion of one’s personal talents and abilities.

Dr. Broe is conducting these interviews to better understand how people become successful.   Broe plans to release his findings in 2014 with a book titled Leaders’ Quest For Success.  Broe is a leadership expert and a university instructor with the University of Phoenix.

Among the successful people interviewed include a surgeon, an internationally known author, CEOs and entrepreneurs, and a 20 year old dot com millionaire. In all, Dr. Broe will interview 35 successful people.   Broe intends to discuss the findings to these questions:

  • What does success mean?
  • How do leadership skills help a person become successful?
  • Everyone stumbles, how do leadership skills help someone continue after a failure experience?

Steve Broe’s first book examined career change and leadership.  Leaders in Transition (2012) answers the question, “How do people change careers and become leaders in their new field?” Leaders in Transition was published through Create Space and is available through Amazon and on the Kindle device.
