An emotional Obama addressed the nation and paid tribute to the late Nelson Mandela recounting of biographical milestones that lead to his “Long Walk to Freedom”.

 

Obama told the Whitehouse “Like so many around the globe, I cannot fully imagine my life without the example that Nelson Mandela set

 

“He no longer belongs to us – he belongs to the ages.

“Madiba transformed South Africa and moved all of us- his journey from a prisoner to a president embodied the promise that humans can transform for the better.”

 

Despite the dampened spirits around the world, Amazon has reported an increased spike in interest to learn more about the legendary life of Nelson Mandela. A recent online poll has found that more than 47% of the nations do not know about Mandela’s life or biography.

 

Living musical genius, Bono from rock band U2 believes that more people need to educate themselves on the biography of Nelson Mandela.
