360 Degree Communications is excited to announce that The Second Annual Esalen Inspirational Film Festival will be extended to five days, and will take place on the spectacular grounds of The Esalen Institute on March 30-April 4, 2014.

Festival co-directors and curators Corinne Bourdeau and Mary Elizabeth Murphy are excited to announce a stellar team of presenters to celebrate cinema that enlightens, inspires, and uplifts the human spirit.  Participants will enjoy a vibrant mix of films, panel discussions, and thought provoking dialogue with the presenters. Highlights for the 2014 festival include special evening presentations with filmmaker Betsy Chasse (What the Bleep Do We Know!?) and Barnet Bain (What Dreams May Come, Celestine Prophecy), and an evening dedicated to positive psychology and film with Producer Lindsay Doran.  The festival will also feature Academy Award nominated filmmakers, film screenings, and surprise guests and changemakers in the entertainment industry that are on the forefront of transformational film.

The festival is open to everyone, and will be of particular interest to artists, filmmakers, and those who have a passion for social justice, environmental issues, personal growth exploration and spiritual themes.  Discussion topics will include the landscape of independent films dedicated to transformation, the power of entertainment to create social change and activism, the art of mythology and powerful storytelling, and other inspiring discussion points.
