Forthcoming building plans from architect Scott Tucker are expected to increase the ease and affordability of constructing environmentally friendly buildings. The nearly finalized designs provide for the fabrication of simple modular units that make use of all of the cutting edge technology available for green construction. The modular units are expected to be suitable for commercial, municipal, and residential applications.

Scott Tucker announced that when the designs are finalized, they will be available for free, in the hopes that modular building manufacturers will employ Tucker’s blueprints in the creation of environmentally friendly buildings.

“The goal here is move the industry forward when it comes to green construction and preservation of the environment,” said Scott Tucker. “The building plans that I will be releasing are a very cost-effective way for builders to produce an environmentally friendly product, and by offering the designs for free, the cost to manufacturers is even lower.”

Tucker stated that he expects the free plans to lead to monetary gain in the form of consulting contracts.

“Obviously, I am willing to work with any modular building manufacturers that need assistance implementing the designs, and I will be available on a contract basis to create additional designs or modifications to the ones that I will be releasing for free.”

According to Scott Tucker, the finished blueprints will be available for free by the end of the year, and he will be promoting the designs by attending and speaking at industry conferences throughout 2014.
