(Newswire.net — February 3, 2014) Boulder, Colorado — They say “home is where the heart is,” but not every home is made equal. As anyone searching for their dream home knows, location is key, and Boulder, Colorado is no exception. There are several neighborhoods throughout the city that people should be aware of to ensure they’re finding a property they’re happy to call home. Boulder real estate agent Terri Cox says that the Moores neighborhood is an up and coming area of the city for people to call home. “In the last couple of years we’ve definitely seen some growth in that area because of it’s location and the beautiful tree-lined streets,” says Terri.

Between its beautiful mountainside location and bustling economy, Boulder is known for offering a unique lifestyle opportunity for it’s residents. Fine dining and local shopping are just some of the many draws to the area. “Moores is about two miles from downtown,” says Terri, “so it’s real quick to get down there and you can easily bike there in the spring and summer.” Along north Broadway, residents can enjoy the Ideal Market shopping center for  their grocery needs, as well as enjoy some of the best coffee, dining, and shopping in the area. Moores is also very close to the Hilltop shopping center as well as Lucky Market, and Holiday, more independently owned shops and restaurants can be found.

This area of Boulder is a particular draw for families. “It’s still very close to everything in Boulder, however, it’s easy to find an acre lot, a third acre lot, even half acre lots.” Some of the homes in this area were originally developed through the early 1900’s, with the majority of the houses built during the 1940’s and the 1950’s. “ I would say that an average house is around $775,000,” says Terri, “but we’re going to see a lot more tear-downs and people building their dream homes, so we’re going to see a lot more $1.2 and $1.5 million homes.”

Another aspect that makes this area of Boulder so popular are the numerous trailheads, parks, and other outdoor recreation activities. “Just on the other side of Broadway you’re going to find Wonderland Lake, and there’s a nice little trail that goes around that. If you head north, you can travel along Eagle Trail which extends all the way out to the Boulder Reservoir.” Located nearby the Moores neighborhood, people can take advantage of Crest View Park, as well as Melody Park. Both scenic spots offer some beautiful views of the Flat Irons and feature large playgrounds for kids to enjoy.

With its healthy growing economy and an emerging buyer’s housing market, Boulder is becoming an extremely popular location for people to call home. Terri feels that the Moores neighborhood has a lot to offer and anyone interested in taking advantage of the full lifestyle Boulder has to offer should consider taking a look at available homes in this area. “With all the parks and the trails and all the shopping close by, there’s just a lot to do in that neighborhood.”

Many have found Terri to be a valuable asset, as evidenced by her most recent Zillow review: “To sum it all up as concisely as possible, I don’t think she could have made it any easier.” In addition to Boulder, Terri has extensive experience serving the real estate needs of home buyers and sellers throughout the Superior, Broomfield, Erie, Westminster, Northglenn and Thornton, Colorado areas. From first time home buyers, to VA buyers and those interested in luxury homes, Terri’s expertise will prove beneficial.
