(Newswire.net — February 6, 2014) Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey — News – Do you want to improve your self-confidence?

Now you can through coaching on how to visualise how you want to feel and be instead of not feeling or being confident.

Why does it matter to feel and be confident?

Your level of self-confidence will regulate how you think, feel, behave and will govern the actions that you take in your business and personal life.

Marlene is a trained journalist. She left her occupation in journalism to focus on starting a family. After eight years Marlene felt that she wanted to return to work. She felt that she had been away from journalism for a long time and that technology and time had moved on so she accepted employment as an administrator in an educational establishment.

Three year on as an administrator Marlene still yearn to return to journalism where she feels her purpose, passion and destiny is rooted. Yet Marlene did not have the self-confidence to explore opportunities in journalism.  After three coaching sessions, Marlene decided to join a discussion forum for journalist who are working freelance, she then decided to attend networking meetings and within three months of attending network meetings she landed a job which led to employment with a regional news network.

So what are the lessons? Your self-confidence is linked to your emotional intelligence and is an emotional component of your personality. Your self-confidence is based on your belief in yourself with freedom from doubt as to who you really are and freedom from doubting what you can achieve. Your self-confidence is about knowing your essence and the desires of your soul.

My coaching approach to self-confidence involves a six step process encompassing the environment. behaviour, skills and capabilities, values and beliefs, identity and your magical “I Am”

From the perspective of emotional intelligence the focused on three areas:

(1)  Your self-liking – How much you like yourself. What are the doubts and messages that need to be cleared from your sub-conscious mind? The more you like yourself, the higher standard you will set for yourself and believe in your self-worth and your self-esteem.

(2)  Your self-competence – This is your inner mirror. How do you see yourself? What is the image you have of yourself?

(3)  Your self-assurance – The attitude you have towards yourself and the messages that are running your life from your subconscious mind. What do you consistently tell yourself? How does your inner dialogue make you feel, think and act

Self-confidence is your ability to appreciate your gifts, talents, abilities and your perceived positive aspects and possibilities. That which you think you can do eventually become part of your reality. When you are self-confident you are able to say with ease: I don’t know but I have the ability to find out, you say I don’t know without feeling inadequate. In the same manner you are confident in accepting your mistakes and feel confident in working towards solutions.

From the inner mirror of self-reference I invite you to engage with my coaching to improve your inner dialogue and to make your business and your life the success that you are truly meant to be.
