(Newswire.net — February 21, 2014) LaPlace, LA — Supreme Ford of LaPlace is proud to announce that we will be sponsoring a cookout at our dealership for the LaPlace Volunteer Fire Department in April. The planned event will have members of the LaPlace Volunteer Fire Department displaying some of their Fire and Rescue Trucks, and members will also be demonstrating some of their equipment used for firefighting and extrication.
Our General Manager, and former Assistant Fire Chief for the LaPlace Volunteer Fire Department, Tony LaRosa, sums it up this way, “At Supreme Ford of LaPlace, we believe in giving back to the community, and by sponsoring the cookout for the LaPlace Volunteer Fire Department and giving them a place to demonstrate their equipment to the community, we are playing a part in helping to bring the Fire Department and the community closer together”. Along with sponsoring the cookout, the dealership will also be donating $500.00 to the Fire Department.
