Sheyenne Kreamer, co-founder of the WeCare Partnerships Network, announced today the launch of their $5,000 crowd-funding effort designed to create new jobs for those who have been struggling with long-term unemployment.  Beneficiaries of this effort include those who have held professional level positions, as well as those who are homeless, or who have been formerly incarcerated.

The campaign targets the small to medium-sized business community that typically has a more difficult time trying to figure out how to help in the community.  “We are so grateful to have partnerships with a number of first-class advertising mediums,” said Kreamer.  “It’s because of businesses like the Business Alliance of NC, BluesJazzRadio.com, and BestMobileVideo.com, that we can offer high-value thank-you gifts to any business that contributes to our apprenticeship fund.”

The apprenticeship fund is utilized by WeCare’s Project UpLift Team to create entrepreneurial work teams.  Participants get hands-on training in sales & marketing while developing seed capital for themselves.  The goal is to help each participant gain skills and confidence that will allow them to launch a business of their own with the help of a mentor.
