London dog portraits launch in Greenwich

The new service is the brainchild of Greenwich photographer Rebecca Portsmouth, offering a friendly, professional and all-weather service to dog owners.

 

While location dog portraits are available from a number of London pet photographers, Rebecca believes she is the first in south London offering a professional studio for dog portraits. She started Greenwich Hound Dog Portraits so that dog portraits could be taken in any weather.  Shooting indoors also means freshly-washed pets and show dogs stay clean and groomed, looking their best.

 

Professional studio lighting also means that dark dogs and those with thick hair around their eyes can be carefully lit to bring out their eyes and the texture of their coat. A selection of classic portraits are taken against a plain background, with the dog on its own at different angles and with the owner. Portraits of two or more dogs are also available. 

 

All photographs are available as canvases, wall portraits and prints after being professionally finished with expert retouching.
