(Newswire.net — May 1, 2014) Crows Nest, NSW — Lisa Rubinstein, CEO of the Institute for Human Potential and 7th Dan Black Belt Taekwonjitsu Master Paul Mracek are presenting an hour long, experiential workshop: “Neuroscience and Martial Arts: Learning that Drives Performance” where they reveal what emotions cost business, why human beings are delusional and how to bring martial arts to work.
Before their talk starts, Mracek a business consultant from Australia will play the Didgeridoo for the audience; a 5 ft long wooden tube hollowed out by termites in the thin trunk of a eucalypt tree.
About 1,500 years ago Indigenous Australians of northern Australia created the Didgeridoo, a wind instrument that plays only one note, yet is capable of a spectacular range of different sounds, and the rhythmic variation of these sounds is its chief musical attraction.
Paul Mracek says: “The Neuroscience and Martial Arts presentation is about bringing the Western paradigm with Neuroscience and Eastern philosophy from Martial Arts together to create a unique approach that provides understanding of the role energy plays in communication, relationships and ultimately performance. Joining the two together brings a balanced approach to creating the conditions to break bias and build ready to learn performance cultures that drive human transformation. The models that have been created provide a map of perceptions, behaviours and readiness to learn that unravels the logic behind performance.”
