Diamonds Move Mothers at Continental Wholesale Diamonds

(Newswire.net— May 9, 2014) Tampa, Fl — Andrew Meyer, principal owner of Continental Wholesale Diamonds in Tampa, has brought his creative ideas from Philadelphia to this town of burgeoning diamond lovers.  He seems to possess the ability to hatch new ideas and methods to spark interest amongst his buying audience by making the process fun and inviting.

His television interview on WTSP Studio 10 this week captured the essence of how Meyer goes about his business.  Last year at The Tampa Bay Women’s Club, Continental donated a diamond to a charity event that was amongst 399 champagne glasses filled with Cubic Zirconia (CZ’s) while 1 glass had a real diamond.  Each glass sold for $20.00 and at the end of the evening, each person was to have their “diamond” or cz verified.  Ironically enough, the woman who had the real diamond swallowed it and needed to have it surgically removed the next day which happened to coincide with a medical procedure she was having done anyway.  This clearly took “passing diamonds” to a new level of understanding.

Meyer also talks about using real roses and plating them with gold.  His salon where he invites the public to view, discuss, and of course buy diamonds, is set up to be comfortable and inviting so Continental can get to know the customers, their interests, and lifestyles.  Their salon is set up with coffee, water, wine, spirits, sweets, and more, so that his clientele can relax and feel at ease in discussing their interests.  People are encouraged to browse around and ask questions about diamonds and jewelry, their settings, composition, and anything else that might spark their curiosity.  For many, diamonds can be intimidating however at Continental, the team there is trained to be open and encourage free dialogue.

Knowledge is their basis for bridging a comfort level that forges relationships and trust that lasts a lifetime.  Continental’s store is in somewhat of an innocuous location that is on the ground floor of an office building without signage or elaborate advertisements.  It prides itself on the fact that people who are interested in diamonds,  know their whereabouts and how to get there.  Costs are probably the biggest thing on most consumer’s minds.  With that thought, many have come to realize that Continental is a wholesaler that sells retail at wholesale prices, which is an attractive allure.  For more information about Continental and diamonds in general, come to:
