In a recent announcement, modeling agency AMG Services declared the beginning of a talent search in the Miami metropolitan area. The agency is specifically looking for commercial models for work in print and video advertisements.

According to Daniel Watkins, the agency’s new talent search is the result of an increase in inquiries from advertising agencies and publishers.

“We have done very well with our current pool of talent,” says Daniel Watkins of AMG Services. “We have never wanted to expand past the number of models that we can successfully manage and find work for, but we’ve seen an increase in opportunities that indicates to us that now is the right time to search for new talent.”

Representatives from AMG Services says that the search for new talent is open to all types of models interested in working in the commercial modeling field, including men, women, teenagers, and children of all looks.

“The majority of the opportunities that we currently have are for models with family appeal, especially for group shoots where we need to pair together models that could be family members or friends,” says Daniel Watkins. “There are other opportunities, however, so we are not turning anyone away at this point, provided they have the ability and professionalism to get the job done.”

AMG Services is currently accepting head shot submissions, and is also setting up kiosks in malls throughout the Miami metropolitan area to help recognize individuals who may have not previously considered a career in modeling.

Daniel Watkins of AMG Services stated that he does not expect that talent search to last long, noting that interest and applications are normally high and that the agency will not continue pursuing new models once the current demand from advertisers and publishers is met.
