A recent announcement by private security firm AMG Services details plans to hire seventy-four new security guards by the end of 2014. The firm announced that to meet the demands of a rigorous screening and hiring, the firm is currently accepting applications from job candidates.
“We are very selective about who we hire,” says John Sedgwick of AMG Services. “If we are going to fill all of open positions in our staff by the end of the year, it is essential that we start looking for qualified applicants immediately.”
According to John Sedgwick of AMG Services, the firm has taken on new contracts to start at the beginning of 2015, and is planning ahead to make sure that on-duty guards are experienced and well-trained before being assigned to new clients.
AMG Services will be partnering new hires with experienced guards, but according to information recently released by the security firm, all hiring of new employees must take place well before the end of the year for deployment to new security responsibilities to be conducted successfully.
“We have excellent training resources in place for new security guards and we have a dedicated staff of veteran guards to help set the bar for new hires,” say John Sedgwick of AMG Services. “Our clients expect top-notch service and professionalism from our company, so we will not take any risks assigning untrained and inexperienced personnel, this is why it is crucial for us to be selective and to start hiring now.”
New clients for AMG Services in 2015 include a gated-community housing development that is slated to complete construction next February, as well as a large shopping center that is ending the contract of it’s current security provider.
Human resources professionals at AMG Services are actively recruiting qualified applicants for the new positions, but representatives from the company say that they are accepting resumes from all interested persons.
