Smart Phones with Dumb Batteries Leave Users Lost & Stranded

Smart phones continue to increase in artificial intelligence, but their real ignorant batteries are leaving phones dead and users in deadly situations.

The good news is we dug up the 2 most important “Techtics” to help ensure your smart phone does not play you for a fool.

“I could not even remember my brothers number” said a man visiting Toronto who got separated from his group. “I have a car charger, but, my brother had the keys. It was embarrassing going door to door requesting a charge from strangers.”

With good weather comes the carnivals, parades, camping, hiking, picnics and other summer perks. But all of these outings tend to leave us vulnerable when our smart phones take stupid naps.

A Toronto man tells the horrifying story of his camping trip to Muskoka. He took his family to the cottage and went for a stroll through the woods using his iPhone5 compass as a guide. He had about 3/4 battery life when he embarked on the planned 1 hour trip.
But 45 minutes into the walk, the phone died!. Unfortunately, his internal compass was not as accurate as the iPhone and the 1 hour stroll became a 5 hour adventure (not the good kind). “It was getting dark and difficult to see. My 7 year old boy must have touched some poison ivy in the bush.”

Kim a young woman who lives west of Toronto explained how the most important job interview in her life was sabotaged by a dead phone. “I left it charging over night, but I guess my 2 year old must have unplugged it.” She still had 1/4 battery life, and figured it was enough for the commute. “There was a hold up with the train and I had no reception to call and let them know the situation. By the time I got out of the train the phone was dead.” She ran through the underground tunnels, dashed into the elevator and hit the downtown core arriving at her interview 10 minutes late. The interviewer did not give her the chance to explain why she was late. “I apologized for being late and tried to explain, but he was not trying to hear any excuses”. Kim never got a chance to conduct the interview.

Nightmare stories like these of batteries dying at the worst possible times continue to fill the internet.

A survey of people in Toronto also shows that over 70% agree that the first half of a charged battery seems to have more longevity than the second half. Is the second half exhausted from carrying the first on its back?

So what can we do to avoid being isolated in a unfamiliar city, or lost in the woods with a short lived battery?

A mashup of of tips from the leading tech experts boils down to this. There are essentially 2 main “Techtics” we can do to avoid, losing a job in the city or loosing ourselves in the woods.

1) “Reduce you usages of Apps, Wifi, Location Services, Bluetooth and other operations which are usually running covertly in the background and sucking the soul from your battery”.

2) “Keep a portable power source with you that can jolt your battery back to life. Get something multi-functional that will provide more functionality so you can blast your music around the fire, talk hands free in the car and charge your smart phone up to 90% full in the middle of nowhere” We put experts advice to the test with the Earuption Bluetooth Speaker and Mic availablr a majour retailers like Best Buy and Future Shop. We were able to bring a smart phone back to life. An iPhone 4S went from completely dead, to 87% alive in 1 hour. Importantly, it was useable within 5 minutes of charging with the Earptions power reserve.

Using these “Techtics” you can prevent an early phone death and keep your condolences for someone else’s’ losses
