(Newswire.net — July 15, 2014) Vancouver, Washington — Vancouver, Washington — Cindy Haas, RDHBS, CHHC, announces her new book Over the Lips and Through the Gums, a holistic guide to oral health. Cindy’s combined knowledge as dental hygienist, holistic practitioner, Reiki Master and patient, brought her to the conclusion that brushing and flossing are not the solution to good oral health. Cindy has battled ailments and illnesses since birth, which ultimately led her to the health industry.
“The medical profession and their antibiotic wonder drugs are the key to achieving unwellness. I found that out the hard way growing up.” Cindy Haas went into the dental industry in an attempt to heal herself and found that the industry was throwing a bandaid on the issue. “The most effective method to perfect oral health is with proper mind, body and spiritual balance,” which is covered in her book. Now Cindy works to educate the dental industry from the outside in, literally and figuratively. “Yes, they can teach their patients Preventative Oral Care, without the fear of lost profits. This opens up a new potential revenue source for them, nutrition support and counseling.” She offers continuing education classes through the American Academy of Dental Hygiene to dental professionals. While oral hygiene is important, if it were the solution, the problem would be eradicated. Over the Lips and Through the Gums provides an easy-to-understand, easy-to-follow approach to understanding holistic oral care, with the impressive side-effect of improving overall health from a mind, body, and spirit perspective.
