(Newswire.net — July 21, 2014) Columbus, OH — AussieFIT, a local 2-club fitness chain in East Columbus and Hilliard, OH, launches a $2,000 in cash and prizes sweepstakes via Mobile Video Marketing. The new marketing approach is being used in an attempt to reach customers where they are most likely to be – on the go with their cell phones.
On June 1st, the sweepstakes was launched with the 1st of 3 video guest passes delivered directly to the potential customer’s mobile phones. The customers were then asked to “share” the video guest pass on their social media sites, enabling it to become viral. In the first month, we gathered almost 1k opt-in mobile phone numbers (or sweepstakes entries). On July 1st, a second video was launched. A third video is scheduled for release on August 1st. By the end of August, we hope to have collected from 2,000-3,000 mobile contacts. Each of these contacts will be entered in the sweepstakes, they will have access to the 21-day mobile guest pass and have other advantages if/when they stop by either club.
