(Newswire.net — August 10, 2014) Crewe, Cheshire, — “Over the past few years our bookings have exploded due to brides looking for something unusual and crazy to entertain their guests with and make their day stand out from the crowd.” says Tim Marston, founder member of UK-based Juggling Inferno Fire Performers.
As the above quote suggests, the Juggling Inferno team have been enjoying an upsurge in bookings, on a local and international level, due to the latest craze to hit the wedding industry. It is long known that excitable couples getting married are always keen to have a genuinely unique wedding to celebrate their big day.
This constant demand for the next best thing has evolved to the state where so-called “bridezillas” are putting more and more demands on wedding organizers to find the most unusual and unique wedding entertainment ideas for their clients.
So, if you are invited to a wedding anywhere in the UK, or on the continent, this autumn, don’t be surprised if you find yourself mesmerised by one of Juggling Inferno’s magnificent fire performances during the wedding reception.
“We have always done a few weddings each year, but now they are really taking off, both nationally and abroad.” adds Tim. “I think people see fire performers on holiday in Thailand, or while backpacking around Australia, and decide that they want something similar for their special day. Perhaps to remind them of the great times they had before they decided to settle down”.
The point he makes is very interesting. This generation of new brides has most likely been clubbing in Ibiza, island-hopping in Asia or backpacking around the Southern hemisphere.
To them, a professional fire show may well be synonymous with having a big, colourful party and, with that taken into account, it is not surprising that Juggling Inferno are filling their diary with so many new bookings.
The ultimate question of course – as with all new crazes – is just how long will it last? It may be a short sharp craze or it may continue well into the foreseeable future. Perhaps, more likely, somewhere in between.
The intense demand for professional fire artists will no doubt subside, as it becomes more mainstream to see fire jugglers and performers booked as entertainment at weddings and other events, just as we often now see bands, magicians, DJ’s and caricaturists.
