(Newswire.net — August 13, 2014) Thomson, Illinois — Country/folk singer Anna Marie Petry will return to the Heirloom Market & Café Saturday, August 16, from 5-8 p.m., for a free concert.
Petry, 19, is from Morrison, Illinois, and plays a wide variety of music but focuses mostly on country and folk. She writes and plays much of her own music and also covers songs. She has been singing and playing guitar and harp for about seven years, piano for 12 years, and currently also teaches music.
Earlier on the same day, the Heirloom Farmer’s Market will be held on site from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A week later, on Saturday, August 23, the Fullan Brothers – Aaron and Jesse – will sing at the Heirloom Market & Café from 5-8 p.m., performing a wide variety of classics from past and present eras.
The location of the farmer’s market is in front of the Heirloom Market & Café, the popular business that features an old-town bistro-style restaurant and store that sells everything from authentic Amish goods, to kids’ toys, to grass-fed beef, to heirloom seeds and plants, to solar generators. The restaurant menu features grilled paninis, soups, gourmet coffee, fresh-baked desserts and ice cream, along with indoor and outdoor seating.
