Mr. ChemDry Is Cleaning For The Cause – Breast Cancer Awareness

(Newswire.net — September 22, 2014) Centerville, Utah — Mr. ChemDry has joined the National Breast Cancer Foundation in their mission to spread knowledge in the battle against breast cancer.

The National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM) program is dedicated to increasing awareness about the importance of the early detection of breast cancer through a nationwide campaign held in October. NBCAM started as a weeklong campaign in 1985 with 2 founding members. Today the American Cancer Society is one of many national public service organizations, professional associations, and government agencies that form the NBCAM Board of Sponsors. During NBCAM, the member organizations of the Board of Sponsors join forces to spread the message that early detection of breast cancer followed by prompt treatment saves lives.

ChemDry’s “Cleaning for the Cause” campaign has raised thousands of dollars in the past in the effort to improve education and help find a cure for breast cancer.  In order to raise this money, ChemDry franchises across the nation will participate in the “Cleaning for the Cause” program by donating proceeds from cleaning jobs and helping spread awareness about the disease.  Cans of Spot Remover will be sold in a special pink design, with an included $1 donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  If you would like to learn more or donate please do so at http://cleaningforthecause.com/

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) is the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting more than 300 communities to finish the fight. Every breast cancer walk and event is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to honor those who have battled breast cancer, raise awareness about what we can do to reduce our breast cancer risk, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease with research, information, services, and access to mammograms for women who need them.  MSABC is a celebration of cancer survivorship an occasion to express hope and our shared determination to make this breast cancer’s last century.
