(Newswire.net — October 17, 2014) Istanbul, Turkey — The United States of America just finished rallying more than forty Western and Arab countries to fight against the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant. These troops will be based in Nineveh. This vast alliance to fight a few thousand Islamic state fighters. The prospect of such a large force of foreign fighters has divided the Iraqi people into two Groups, those who are with the world alliance to enter Iraqi lands and fight ISIL, and those who are against the world alliance because they are questioning and suspecting this huge amount of troops to fight a small terrorist group.
The weapons that ISIL are using are a mix between light and heavy weaponry, that they have stolen from the Iraqi and Syrian armies and from other unknown sources. The only weapon that ISIL has that no other country has, are their suicide bombers.
Is the United States really interested and serious about this war? Do they have anything to benefit from it? And is there a hidden scenario behind this war?
Henry Kissinger, a diplomat and political scientist, mentioned a warning prediction about this war 2 years ago when he said, “If you can’t hear the drums of war you must be deaf.” Also, Bernard Lewis a British-American historian, said that there was a plan to divide Iraq, Lebanon and Syria into many regions based on “religion and ethnic”.
So is this war against ISIL a set up by western interests? This is the biggest question going through the minds of the Iraqi people.
A few days ago, Joe Biden, The Vice President of the US, mentioned a controversial opinion against the alliance, “They poured hundreds of millions of dollars and thousands of tons of weapons into anyone who would fight against Assad, and now look at ISIL, they are armed and the strongest terrorist group in the world.”
The Iraqi people have had enough. Hundreds of innocent Iraqi civilians are getting killed every day by suicide bombings. Almost 250.000 Iraqis were displaced from their home and these numbers are increasing everyday. They are now living in the streets or in camps in the mountains. They have lost everything and now the cold hard winter is coming.
The Iraqi army, Iraqi civilians, the USA and the other countries who have participated in this war must be victorious as soon as possible, or we may witness one of the biggest disaster in recent history.
