(Newswire.net — November 17, 2014) Harrison, Arkansas — Picture A Moment Pet Productions LLC, announces the launch of its new dog web TV series, The Dog Connection TV, on November 18 with the Canine Reporters. This unique show will entertain with clever dog talk while sharing information about both serious and fun dog matters that can have a profound effect on the relationships humans have with their dogs.
Broadcasting daily, the show will include five short web TV episodes each week. These “webisodes” will go into The Dog Connection TV Playlists on the show’s YouTube channel at week’s end. The weekly shows include:
- Life Lessons From My Dog
- The Dog Trained People Show
- Charlie And Friends Show
- The Canine Chefs Show
- The Rainbow Bridge Show
Show segments fall within multiple genres, including elements of Comedy, Drama, Sci-Fi, Mystery, Cooking, Fine Arts, Lifestyle and Community Service.
Show Format and Production Team
The show’s format includes the Canine Reporters and other dogs speaking “dog talk.” While the stars are real canines presenting issues from a dog’s perspective, the voices heard are in English. The intent is for that voice to be widely heard, to raise awareness and erase misconceptions, and in the process to improve lives of both owners and their pets.
The Dog Connection Web TV series is the product of a vast number of interviews, pet creations, dog videos and more by digital artist Kathy Tarochione of Harrison, Arkansas. Tarochione is the Founder and President of the show’s Producer, Picture A Moment Pet Productions LLC. Actively involved in all areas of the productions, she is the major architect of the design, narration and costuming of the shows. But under her leadership, the creative production team and content providers are many.
Show Directors include Kathy Tarochione, Mardie Sanchse, Michael Harkins, Lou Cattaruzza and Gaetan Charest. The Team also includes Arlene Klein, Michael L. Yergin, Rosary Bovello, Keith Sanderson, Sunnie Day, Richie Schwarz, Gayle Pruitt, Jim Allen, Gail Sowers Hansen, Jessica Anderson, Kelly Barker, Frankie Picasso, Barbara Green, Ruth Villatoro and Mark Barone, as well as “Family Pack” members and Canine Community Reporters. The Dog Connection TV is also affiliated with eWave TV, Today Productions and Stage 1 TV.
Show Goals – The Dog Movement and Pet Rescue
The Dog Connection TV network will promote the “Dog Connection Movement” to enlighten people on the value of their dogs. Tarochione is quick to point out that whether someone needs emotional support, assistance, comfort, safety, someone to talk to or maybe just a friend, a closely bonded dog is always there to give the love and support that’s needed. That’s in addition to the special needs met by Service Dogs.
By offering a variety of entertaining web TV shows designed to touch hearts, the network aims to increase understanding, bonding, effective leadership and communication between dog owners and their pets. That requires awareness of what the dog needs from them and how the dog thinks, as well the many ways dogs can contribute to humans. The premise is that when humans are willing to make a contribution to their dogs by learning directly and indirectly from them on how they see the world, dogs’ current lives, generally filled with fears and considerations, will dramatically and magically change for the better.
Tarochione also emphasizes the intent to make a real difference in the areas of abandoned dogs, overcrowded shelters, pet adoption and treatment of these loving animals, stating:
“It is my belief that when people understand more deeply and can truly connect with their dogs, they will bond like a family bonds and close relationships are formed. Making a true connection isn’t easy. When people connect with their dogs, they will be less likely to give them up. They will also make more informed decisions before adopting a dog. Dogs really become Family, with their own voice, that we pray will finally be heard.”
Nine to eleven million animals die every year in shelters. The Humane Society of the United States reports that three to four million die in its shelters alone. Rescue operations are overwhelmed. Tarochione insists, “Only pet owners can reverse this, especially if they evolve into being Pet Lovers.”
Role of The Canine Community Reporters
The Dog Connection TV grew out of the successful “The Canine Community Reporters News”, a complimentary Picture A Moment Pet Productions initiative that is a major contributor to the new web TV network. Canine Community Reporters (CCR’s) provide stories about dogs making a difference and changing lives.
The Canine Reporters themselves are currently making a strong contribution to their own communities. They also help in fundraising for Animal Rescue Groups. When their pictures submitted are used for PETographs (Fine Art Creations) in the CCR Shop, a percentage of the proceeds is donated to selected organizations.
While the Canine Reporters will continue to broadcast their news separately, they will also be stars in the new web TV series and contribute ideas for its fresh content. The Dog Connection TV selects stories submitted by or through the Canine Reporters to be showcased on the Web TV Shows.
Role of The Dog Connection TV Facebook Page
With the byline, “Where Best Friends Connect,” the The Dog Connection TV Facebook page is positioned as a “Movie, Television & News” social network where pet lovers and pet owners can share. Tarochione insists:
“It’s the ideal place for animal lovers, where dogs can have their Voice. Pet parents are the translators, because they know how to “speak dog.” The truth is, it’s fun, too. What a great way to help animals.”
Dogs (and owners) are invited to become part of the “Family Pack” community who share their experiences, questions and concerns, and give feedback or “votes” on the shows. Some will even be featured in future Dog Connection shows. Their feedback will help the producers weed out the less popular shows even as they build upon those that receive the most audience acclaim.
A Good Dog Day Show
When Tarochione showed Montreal-born Gaetan Charest her initial blueprint for the web TV series, he singled out one large and compelling category for a traditional TV show: Service Dogs. Now, he and his Chicago based company, Today Productions, are collaborating with Kathy Tarochione and Picture A Moment Pet Productions on “A Good Dog Day Show.” It will be a traditional broadcast television series spotlighting Service Dogs of all types. The Dog Connection web TV network and “A Good Dog Day Show” will contribute to each other.
Charest, formerly Executive Producer for the largest private TV network in Canada, has strong television production, concept development and live broadcasting experience in the United States and abroad. He has produced over 400 documentaries, and is currently producing programs for Animal Planet’s Disney Channel.
