(Newswire.net — November 19, 2014) Delray Beach, Florida — Local businesses understand the value of supporting local school sports and academic programs. For decades now savvy local business owners have taken pride in giving back to their community through getting involved and sponsoring student activities.

The Water Doctor/Suburban Water Filtration helps support the Seminole Ridge Community High School Cheerleading squad.  ADAM SWICICKI (chief operating officer) had this to say “We service many people in the Loxahatchee area with their water filtration needs.  We appreciate their business and wanted to give something back to the community so we chose to support the high school cheerleading team; in particular one of our customer’s daughter, Haley Beckowitz.

As you may or may not know, it has become quite expensive to be a cheerleader.  The cost to compete and the outfits needed can become quite costly – putting a burden on the parents.  We hope that our little bit helps these fine young girls compete in a positive and rewarding way.”

Adam explained, “Rather than spend money on dues to belong to different business organizations, we believe our company’s money is better spent on helping other people and/or charitable organizations.

On another note, at The Water Doctor/Suburban Water Filtration we have rescued a number of stray cats that live near our business.  We actually have adopted 2 of them.  They live at our warehouse on weekdays and on the weekends they go home with one of our employees.”
