(Newswire.net — November 25, 2014) Kingston, Jamaca — Junior Reid was spotted at Hip Hop Artist TI’s Party in Toronto this month.  Party goers were chatting about the vibes that Junior Reid and Drake were sharing.  Is a new collaboration brewing between the Living Legend of Reggae and top Hip Hop artist Drake?  According to party goer Tanya B, the rumor is that they will be remixing Reid’s single Love You Back, the lead track on his upcoming album.

Junior Reid, well known for his global anthem One Blood, which continues to spark huge responses even 25 years after its release, recently embarked on a Canadian tour to promote his upcoming album. Performing in cities such as Winnipeg, Edmonton, Toronto and Mississauga, the reggae artiste also rubbed shoulders with a number of U.S. acts including Drake at a social gathering in Toronto. This is where the idea for the collaboration is rumored to have come about.

Although we could not reach Junior Reid or Drake for comments, both artists are well known for powerful collaborations and have been putting out a lot of material recently.

We speculate that a collaboration track could be on rotation by early 2015, coinciding with the release of Reid’s highly anticipated album which is aptly titled Junior Reid: Living Legend. It would also be another addition to the long list of collaborations between Reid and a number of international acts that include Alicia Keys, The Game and Mims, among many others.
