(Newswire.net — January 11, 2015) Lake Geneva, Wisconsin — Lake Geneva, Wisconsin — Carol Tiffany, owner of Lazy Cloud, invites you and your special someone to come and celebrate Make Your Dreams Come True Day in luxurious style with them at her Lake Geneva hotel. She knows that for many folks it has been a long week, especially after all the stress of the holidays. She said that many of her guests share with her that they are looking forward to just relaxing and spending some time in quiet and uninterrupted conversations, sharing their dreams, along with setting some romantic goals for the year. With all the amenities that she provides, her guests know that they will be able to accomplish this easily. Those amenities include candles, soft music, champagne (or wine) and chocolate covered strawberries, and bubble filled whirlpool tubs with a view of the fireplace.
Carol said that each guest receives a complimentary bottle of wine or champagne, and a plate of freshly made chocolate strawberries upon check in. She says sipping on champagne and nibbling on strawberries in a whirlpool that is overflowing with bubbles, with the glow of the blazing fireplace in the background is one of the reasons that Lazy Cloud Inn sees an uptick in reservations for this special day.
She stated that many folks simply don’t have the luxury of sharing these conversations at home. They look around and see all that needs to be done, and when you add in the children, pets, and friends dropping over, quiet time spent on discussing dreams and plans get quickly pushed aside. Carol said that many of her guests turn “Make Your Dreams Come True Day’ into an annual pilgrimage to her Lake Geneva Hotel so they can get the rest of their romantic year started on a firm foundation.
Carol offers a few tips to her guests on how about setting some romantic goals for the New Year.
1. Be specific in your goals: Just saying “We will be more romantic this year” isn’t a good idea because it doesn’t lay out a plan for making sure that you will be more romantic. She shares that you need to create a vision on what a more romantic year will look like. Will you plan more romantic getaways; will you share breakfast in bed more often? Regardless of what your romantic goals are big or small, you need to create a plan on how and when you will achieve them.
2. Be realistic in your goals: Setting a goal of sharing breakfast in bed every Sunday is probably unrealistic if you have children at home. Setting goals that are realistic and achievable will keep the romantic fires burning throughout the year. Instead of saying you are going to have breakfast in bed every Sunday, perhaps one Sunday a month would be more realistic; instead of saying you are going to go on an expensive romantic vacation this year, (especially if funds are allocated for other expenses) perhaps you could set a goal of going away twice this year for a long romantic weekend. If you setting big goals, you really need to plan everything out. Carol said setting realistic goals is the key to achieving your romantic goals.
3. Be encouraging in your goals: A great romance strives to build up and encourage each other. When you set your romantic goals for this year, Carol shared that you need to think about areas that you each want to encourage the other in; then take those areas into account when goal setting for the year. She shared that when you do this, you are both excited and are looking forward to accomplishing these goals.
Planning your romantic goals for the year is not something that takes a few minutes in between loads of laundry, Carol said. If you setting big goals, you really need to plan everything out. Which is why many of her guests find that they need a night, or even complete weekend away, to be able to fully take advantage of setting their romantic goals and dreams She said that though many of her suites are already booked for this annual event, she does have a few suites still available. She also stated that folks who can’t take a day off of work, will reschedule Make Your Dreams Come True Day to the weekend, where they can fully enjoy the holiday.
