(Newswire.net — January 20, 2015) Encinitas, California — Southern California recording artists and acclaimed performers, Rebeca and David have partnered with Mueller College to create a concert series to be held at the college’s entertainment center and listening room called Across the Street at Mueller College. Each concert will be held on the fourth Friday of each month in 2015 and will be called Rebeca and David’s 4th Friday. These shows will have a rich musical bill including a performance by Rebeca and David plus a featured San Diego music artist, considered to be among the elite in the city. This room is perfect for an intimate show, as it has great sound and lighting and limited seating capacity to insure an extremely personal connection with the artists.
The inaugural show will be held on January 23rd and will feature iconic singer/songwriter, Gregory Page. Gregory is an award winning recording artist who has toured much of the world including a recent tour of Holland, performing and sharing his music to packed houses. Gregory is a highly original performer and is considered by many to be a local San Diego treasure and most certainly a performer on the must see list.
The concert hosts, Rebeca and David, are from north county San Diego where they regularly sell out their shows and have had several CD releases. This is a reunion of sorts for Rebeca and David with Gregory Page, as they haven’t performed together since the Lakeside Fire Aid Benefit Concert in 2003 after the Cedar Fire.
The venue at Across the Street at Mueller College is located at 4601 Park Blvd. in University Heights. The venue was dubbed “Across the Street” because of its connection to over a decade of phenomenal shows held in the green room at Twiggs that have now migrated across the street to the Mueller College location. The show begins at 8:00 and tickets are available in advance and at the door for $15.
