(Newswire.net — February 19, 2015) Ipswich, Suffolk — Ipswich based illustrator and designer, Ian Pointer is launching a new side to his business. Ian has a background in design and illustration and now intends to merge the two, to concentrate more on a creative blend of imaginative illustration perfectly suited for children’s books, paper engineering projects, web graphic interactive elements and portraiture.

Ian is appealing to those with ideas for children’s books, apps or other creative projects to step forward, saying: “If you have an idea, come to me to make it real.”  This is a bold claim, but Ian’s expertise lies in illustration, concept and storybook work, design, narrative and interactive exhibition work.

He has branded characters for Ipswich Master-Con (Comicon for Ipswich) and his work has appeared in Waterstones.  With an extensive portfolio in design and layout, a sheer love of illustration and character work, Ian Pointer now feels ready to extend his practice, specialising to accept further commissions for only the most creative projects.

He is delighted to offer a free consultation to discuss your vision – whether that’s so you can benefit from his unique insight into how to make things truly different and special or to get down to the nuts and bolts of project planning the stages required to reach your desired goal.

Ian’s work has been shaped by the likes of Dave McKean, Bill Tiller, LucasArts Adventure Games, Telltale and Revolution Software and work by Martin Handford, famous for “Where’s Wally”.  The creative process and styles Ian feels most at home with come from being a keen lover of independent film, animated film, computer games and classic children’s books.  His work is age-friendly, inclusive and respectful of diversity – but overall it’s fun.  Bright, colourful imaginative fun that he’s offering to inject into your creative project.

This offer is available for a limited time.
